Every year the Small Business Administration (SBA) celebrates Small Business Week by honoring small business owners and their leadership abilities for the respective area. This year, MCSC's Women's Business Center client Andrea Wasko, and her partner, had the opportunity to be recognized and honored by the SBA and Congressman Salud Carbajal. Wasko & Gilbert are the developers of the Quick Pickle Kit, created in 1996. Their product brings back the once adored home canned pickles. The Quick Pickle Kit provides consumers with a quick, simple and natural way to make great tasting fresh pickles and/or other vegetables in just 3 days! Wasko & Gilbert say this is a "Big Dill" award for them which made International Pickle Week a bigger celebration for the business and their pickle fans!
