The Laguna Middle School Ganas Club
held its first meeting this week on Thursday in G14 at lunch. Through the new
Ganas Club, students will learn life skills, have community service
opportunities, and practice entrepreneurship. Teens will learn about successful
behavior, finances, and career opportunities.
Students will also be exposed to a variety of guest speakers to inform
students about social issues and career opportunities.
Ganas Club is
happy to collaborate with QuickPickleKit.com
to support the launch of their club with a kick-off fundraiser. Ganas Club will
keep 100% of the profits from this endeavor and the fundraiser will occur from
November 29, 2018 to December 10, 2018. Delivery of the product will be on
December 13, 2018, in time for the holidays.
This is a
healthy fundraiser where students will learn entrepreneurial skills along with
the benefits of giving back from local social entrepreneurs, Andrea
Wasko and Meaghan
Gilbert. Please support this club endeavor with this generous one-time
fundraiser offered by QuickPickleKit.com. More information at QuickPickleKit.com.
The cost of
the kit is $40. It comes with a 40-page recipe book and instructions. Checks
can be made payable to “Ganas Club” with “Quick Pickle Kit” in the memo line.
You can deliver the check for $40 to campus or mail it in to the school.
Students in the Ganas Club are also soliciting orders from staff and community
members.
The next
meeting of the Ganas Club is Thursday, December 6, 2018 in G14 during 8th grade
lunch. #entrepreneur #school #teach #students
