Quick Pickle Kit Celebrates Small Business Week, Awards + Announces Upcoming Events

The SBA awarded Andrea Wasko and Meaghan Gilbert, owners of Los Osos based Connoisseur Creations, Inc., their 2019 Small Business Persons of the Year for the SBA’s 15 county San Joaquin Valley and Central Coast region. This is a “Big Dill” for SLO as it is the first time that a business from San Luis Obispo County has received this award. Congressman Salud Carbajal, Keilah Smith, District Director for Assemblyman Jordan Cunningham and Supervisor Bruce Gibson also presented awards honoring Andrea and Meaghan.

Connoisseur Creations was selected because of their business philosophy of giving back and helping others. Connoisseur Creations donates part of the Quick Pickle Kit and Spice Packet sales on their website to nonprofit agencies and their products are assembled by disabled adults. QuickPickleKit.com promotes health and reduces food waste.

The Quick Pickle Kit team will celebrate being the 2019 Small Business Persons of the Year all of 2019 until #SmallBusinessWeek 2020 when the next recipient will be named. Quick Pickle Kit is featured as the Executive Member of the Month at Costco until 5/31/19 in San Luis Obispo, CA.

The next holiday that Quick Pickle Kit will celebrate is International Pickle Week from 5/20 – 5/29. SBA + Elected Officials Present Quick Pickle Kit Team with Awards

The SBA awarded Andrea Wasko and Meaghan Gilbert, owners of Los Osos based Connoisseur Creations, Inc., their 2019 Small Business Persons of the Year for the SBA’s 15 county San Joaquin Valley and Central Coast region. The SBA will present Andrea Wasko and Meaghan Gilbert with their Small Business Persons of the Year award at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the County Government Center 1055 Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo, 4th Floor Conference Room #454. The award presentation event is open to the media.

The Quick Pickle Kit is safe, quick, simple and natural and consumers can use the kit to pickle any vegetable.
